Bugøynes Approximately 100 km from Kirkenes we find the only fishing village in the municipality. The idyllic settlement which is situated where the fjord meets the open sea is one of the few places in Finnmark that was not burned down during the war, and it has therefore kept its Finnish architecture dating back to the time of the Finnish immigration during the 19th century.
