Pasvik Valley The Pasvik Valley stretches about 100 km southwards in the municipality, and is situated as if in a wedge between Russia to the south and Finland to the west. The Pasvik River constitutes most of the 196 km long border towards Russia. Pasvik is best known for its special eastern flora and fauna, and for being home to Norway's only bear-clan.
